We got up and got ready and made it to Sunday School and Worship Service on time. Kids didn’t really want to go but Lesa and I did. I was tired and probably fell asleep a few times too many. Attendance was pretty sparse. Met a couple named Adam and Tia who are undergoing the foster parent training process and are experiencing the joys of mountains of paperwork they have to do. They are interested in special needs kids because their biological kid is special needs as well. They are using Open Arms and they just wanted to chat with us and see if we were open to that. We told them to feel free to ask or bounce whatever off us. Went to Dollar General before heading home for lunch. Lesa bought a bunch of stuff like hand soap and trash cans and other home items. Lesa made us lunch and I had leftover souvlaki and pretty much finished it off, Lesa had her famous fried turkey sandwich, Ashley had a chicken pot pie, Bruce had mac and cheese, and Dillan had pizza bites, and I don’t remember what Dwyane had. Then we went to Springville and got Lesa’s desk chair, the kids bikes, and several boxes of stuff. While Dillan and Lesa were packing more boxes Ashley and the boys and myself went to Lowe’s and had some extra house keys made. When we got back to Springville I loaded up the trailer and we headed home. We got back close to dinner so I made pancakes and Ashley helped, we didn’t have chocolate syrup or sausage so it was just plain old pancakes. It filled the hole. Lesa unpacked the day’s haul while we cooked; the boys just played and caused a ruckus. After dinner the kids got all wild and crazy and was running throughout the house like crazy people. Got them settled down and had them get their school stuff ready. Tomorrow they will ride the new school bus – we’ll see how that goes. Watched a bit of TV and all the kids got sent off to bed. Lesa followed shortly after. I’m headed there next.
