Lazy morning probably cost us a chance at seeing black bears at Cades Cove and definitely left us in traffic on the Loop, however, the views were beautiful, we got to stop halfway around and have lunch at the most beautiful spot in the entire park. It was totally awesome. We stopped at man of the churches and cabins along the way. Ashley sprained her ankle on the steps horsing around with the boys so she slowed things up and limited some of what we could do, started hurting her really bad later in the day and each stop made it stiffen even more. On top of that, she jammed two of her fingers horsing around as well. Her fingers are swollen and sore and she’s not feeling liker moving them much. After leaving the Loop, we tried to find the Greenbriar School but I didn’t find it, Lesa said she thought it was outside the Park by the horse riding stables. Regardless, I didn’t look long, it had already been a long day. On the way back toward Townsend, we stopped by the creek and we let the kids get in the water and play around. The boys got sopped. Got to the house and Lesa fixed a nice spaghetti dinner, best meal we’ve had since getting here. Let the kids watch a movie – The Dog Who Saved Halloween.
