Got up with the alarm this morning. Lesa made sure we all had breakfast and then we started packing up to come home. Left about 10:30a and was on our way. Missed our 31 South exit, not sure how, definitely not very well mark, we missed it going north too. Got turned back around, we lost about 20 minutes. Stopped in Argos at a McDonald’s for the kids, went next door to get Subway for Lesa and me. Back on the highway 15 minutes later. Went to Grissom Air Museum next to Grissom Joint Air Reserve Base near Bunker Hill but the museum was closed – their hours were Thursday thru Saturday 10a-4p so we couldn’t go in but we looked at some of the planes anyway. It wasn’t a planned destination, we saw it on our way to Michigan and made a mental note to stop on the way back, the kids showed a lot of interest in it so maybe a trip to Wright-Patterson is in our future? Back on the road and got gas in Westfield, plugged in the Lone Ranger movie, the one with Johnny Depp as Tonto, I went straight through Indianapolis and all the way home. Dogs about licked us to death. Got unloaded and then the kids watched the rest of the movie. Sonja clean up around the place, left the boys some of the clothes her son has outgrown, and left us some canned tomatoes, we think the world of her! Kids played outside, raked a big pile of leaves they jumped in. I offered to get Mexican from Casa Brava so Lesa would have to cook, she took me up on it so I called in the order and Ashley and me went and got it. Ate, and then Lesa took the kids to get mail, I got online with BMV and ordered Lesa’s plates and also ordered Dillan and Ashley’s school pictures. Lesa and I were too busy to play Monopoly with the kids so they played together – all four of them – has to be a first – we even took pictures so we’d have proof when they deny it. It was nice seeing them all playing together even though it wound up breaking down part way through. They watched some TV and then it was bedtime.
