Up early, slept through two alarms! Woke up Ashley, rushed to get ready, took her to basketball practice on a Saturday morning. Got gas, went back home, drank a cup of coffee and ate some eggs, then went to pick her up again. We ate lunch and tried to take a nap but Lesa asked if we wanted to go get a puppy. So, we packed up the kids and left for Greene County Humane Society and looked at Ellie, Emmie, and Sandy. Sandy was a brown and white dog, very pretty, very cute. Ellie and Emmie are black lab, pit mixes and sisters. Ellie was very friendly, Emmie was too, but Emmie sat pretty for us. Bruce doesn’t want a dog, he wants a cat. So we wound up adopting Emmie. Her name is now Louise because she is originally from Louisiana. Took a hike on a trail by the humane society and headed home. Ordered pizzas from Springville Grocery. After supper Lesa went to the store and got some dog stuff. Louise is scared of everything of course which is expected – there is a lot of noise and commotion in this house. Switzee has done nothing but growl and bark at her all night, Porter has been fine. Watched some TV before bed.
