Lesa had to go into the office today. I got the kids to their bus and then I came back home and let the chickens out when it got light. I thought I secured the run but I guess not because when Lesa got home she said they all came running up to her. Anyway, after letting the chickens out I went to work and worked until 5. Then I went to Lowe’s and tried to find screws for the storm window and got some hardware for the coop. Got home and had supper and then worked on the coop until dark which wasn’t that long because it’s getting dark way early now. The kids had already done homework when I got home so they got to watch TV – the boys took showers. Kids didn’t want to go to bed and I had to threaten to wack them with the dreaded flyswatter.
