Went to see about house plans, think we’ll build. Stopped at Ken and Cassie Tussey’s, invited Emma to spend night in a couple of weeks, hay for rabbits. Worked on hutch with Ashley, didn’t finish. Kids played on trampoline at Lexi’s. Took kids to ride bikes in school parking lot.
Lesa left at 3, picked up kids. I left at 3, picked up Bible I won on Spirit 95. School Literacy Night, kids wrote books: Bruce – cheetahs; Dwyane – pigeons; Ashley – her and her friends; Dillan – important things. Lexi, Kash visited. Ashley Scouts, cyber-security in Bloomington.
President’s Day, off work. Angel Jackson asked if we could take Lexi and Kash to school, Wes in hospital. I’m sick, couldn’t sleep, bad headache. Took Lesa to Taste of India for lunch, good time. Got kids from school. Took everyone except Bruce to Scouts, Bruce didn’t want to go.
Church canceled, 8″, emergency travel only, drifting, I got out, roads bad. Sledded, but too cold. Cleaned out roll-top desk, want to put piano in Ashley’s room. Lexi, Kash came up, sledded, came in, played with slime. Monopoly and Yahtzee. Ashley, Dwyane have fevers. Blood moon.
Skipped church, slept until 9:30! Dillan made me breakfast in bed. Kids wanted to sled in morning, didn’t let them. Walmart, everyone needed shoes except Lesa. Sledded all afternoon, Lexi and Kash came up again, kids almost hurt themselves with frostbite. Dillan disrupted prayer.
Snow! Lots of snow! Kids went sledding right after breakfast. Hot chocolate. Lunch. Sledding again, Lesa and I included, built snow fort, snowball fight, Lexi and Kash came up, kids had a blast. More hot chocolate, kids played games, Lexi and Kash too, lots of laughter. Good day.
