School, work, SAIC again. Got kids early. Started to fix shower drain, needed ‘O’ ring, Lowe’s with kids. Frosties. Finished drain, Dillan went into crawlspace with me, held light. Lesa took Dillan to Boy Scouts. Changed ECT sensor. Got Dillan, mad at me, said no to camp in Ohio.
School, IU, Scientia and SAIC. Truck overheating, put in thermostat, fans not kicking on, will try sensor tomorrow. Located shower drain after trying four places. Took Dwyane and Bruce to Cub Scouts, Ashley went with, Bruce misbehaved. Dillan helped me put deck belt on lawnmower.
Church. I baptized Ashley and Dillan! Praise God! How awesome is that‽ We took Kathy Mitchell and Paul and Andrea Fries to El Ranchero for lunch, we all had a great time! Fantastic Sams for kid haircuts. Bought Lesa bedroom suite/mattress at Living Room Center. Truck overheating.
Kind of slept in, hauled trash, Lowe’s for rabbit playpen materials. Tried fixing leaky shower drain, couldn’t find supplies. Started building playpen with Ashley. Cub Scout End of Summer Pool Party, Ashley invited Emma, thought she would spend night but didn’t. Everyone had fun!
Friday! Everyone tired, even kids. Worked, kids school/daycare. Bruce tried handstand at daycare, wound up face planting, rug burns/scrapes week before school pics. Abraham’s last day, my job just got harder. Pizza and movie, Ashley won but let Bruce pick The Secret Life of Pets.
School, daycare for kids. Work for Lesa and me. Kids obviously tired but handled it well. Fought like cats and dogs at breakfast, made them get down. Mrs Malone texted us to say Ashley is a doll and she enjoys having her in class. Ashley gave us massages. American Ninja Read more…
School day #2, rode bus, no homework, kids still excited, phone blew up from pics/notes. Took Lesa to lunch at Taste of India, had their buffet, very nice break from hectic work day. Two minutes past cutoff getting kids, no one noticed. Kids chatter boxes talking about their day.
First day of 2019-2020 school year! Rode bus. Bruce 1st, Dwyane 2nd, Ashley 4th, Dillan 5th. Wow! Mrs Willis, Mrs Day, Mrs Malone, Mrs Davis. No homework, teachers/pupils getting to know each other. Little Starr’s. They had good day, could tell they were tired. Rest of us worked.
Daycare, work, Lesa worked from home. She took Ashley and Dwyane to doctor for their physicals, took them to daycare after. Picked kids up, picked Lesa up, headed to school for Teacher Meet and Greet, got info and put up their supplies. Showers all around. Bed earlier than usual.
Family Sunday, kids sang. Went to Bloomington, ate at Cozy Table on 3rd. Went to Kohl’s for school shoes. On Great Clips sign-up list – bumped us anyway – never going back! Lowe’s. Went to barber in Bedford, booked for rest of day. Walmart. Fixed Bruce’s bike. Grilled salmon. TV.
