Slept in, kids sitting quietly in living room, first time ever. Ashley bridged from Brownie to Junior, it was nice. Boys rode bikes and played while Lesa and Ashley ordered school cloths. Water main broke. Nicole’s, slaughtered Ken Tussey’s meat chickens. Tacos, TV, showers, bed.
Friday! Work week finally over. Daycare, IU, Scientia. Did nothing after picking up kids, nice not having to rush someplace. Pizza and a movie – not! Kids fighting over seats, and movie, so ate at table with us. Settled enough afterward to watch new Disney movie Dumbo on Blu-Ray.
Caught raccoon in live-trap again. Daycare, Jessica’s pool. Dr Hoff called, no blood in urine, PSA went from 4.6 to 1.6, follow-up January, every 6 months thereafter. It’s great news, on Tuesday I had 5 year expectancy. Lesa took boys to last night of swim lessons, passed, party!
Truck trans struggled this AM. Kids daycare, Lesa IU, me Bloomington. Gave urine, blood samples before going in. Took boys to swim lessons, Ashley went with, got Frosties, checked out kayaks at Dunham’s, Thorton Park, talked about last visit with Nicolle. Lesa flowers, Dillan TV.
Dropped kids at daycare, swam at Jessica’s. Lesa worked. Appointment with Dr. Hoff, elevated white cell count, blood in urine, enlarged/hardened prostate, probable cancer: more tests. Half day Bloomington, half Bedford. Lesa took boys to swim lessons. Played Scrabble with Ashley.
Daycare, Lesa PTO, split time between Bloomington/Bedford. Chickens survived past 24 hrs. Barely time for supper. Lesa took Ashley to Amanda’s, went to Skateland with Girl Scouts, late when I picked her up. I took boys to swim lessons, Dillan stayed home with Lesa, Dillan a pill.
Caught raccoon in live trap, released in Hoosier going to church. Talked to Ken and Kurtis about kids being baptized. Resumed work on run/coop: finished fence, replaced door, fixed nesting box, Lesa covered run with deer netting, finished at 6p. Ate at Asian Pearl. Twister on TV.
Slept in tiny bit. Planned on Jackson Co. Fair, Ashley’s rash bad, called/took her to doctor instead. Something ate Miss Guinea, damaged another hen so bad I had to kill her. Spent all morning rebuilding run. Jiffy Treat, Rural King, Casa Brava. Worked until dark on run. Kids TV.
Took shower, found kids passed out on couch! Lost truck key. Lesa worked, grocery shopped. Got off early, bought Interstate battery, keys made at Lowe’s. Advanced Auto told me they had alternator, liars; Auto Zone had one. Bruce requested game night. Installed alternator/battery.
Daycare, kids swam at Jessica’s. Ashley’s face healing, looks bad, going to peel, hope it doesn’t scar. Worked full day in Bloomington. Lesa took boys to swim lessons, I watched big kids. Dillan went to Gabe’s, he wasn’t home. Kids played Wii, let them watch Home Alone, up later.
